The design stairway Interbau produced for the Lentsch estate of Eppan, near Bolzano (Italy) is placed in a winery that is also a tasting room.
The staircase leads to the tasting area on the intermediate floor and the terrace.
This straight-flight open staircase has a double polished-iron board in which glass panels are inserted as a parapet.
One of the most typical features of the staircase is the lightness of its polished-iron sheet steps that are just 10mm thick.
The intermediate floor itself is a metal structural work with a glass parapet and was entirely produced by Interbau.
Parapets are made of extra clear, laminated and tempered glass.
Using just two materials, Interbau produced a sober, though elegant stairway.
Interbau spiral staircase design model 500 with calendered stainless steel double side board, 10x10x10-thick extra clear satin glass steps, glass banisters and stainless steel handrails.
